Using innovative machinery, they create eco-friendly food containers for businesses like Luke’s Lobster. CEO Melissa LaCasse received the 2024 Women Who Empower Innovator Award, and the company secured funding to expand production. Tanbark aims to reduce single-use plastics while honoring Maine’s pulp and paper heritage.
